this one is sun and weds from 11a till 3p at the corner of Harmony and Boardwalk. Its in the little shopping center parking lot. There's kohl's, ace and sam's club along with other stores.

I go on sun normally. The selection is alot better.

I went to the swap this morning, arrived at 11:00am...nobody was there. I went to the Farmer's Market at the Corner of Harmony & Lemay....and then returned at 11:40am; but still no chicken swap at Boardwalk & Harmony.

BUMMER...I was looking forward to going to my 1st poultry swap.

Sorry rock island. I have heard of small swaps but I have never heard of one just not happening like that. I have only been to a few but the smallest had at least five people selling. :/

Maybe try the fair. El paso county fair is this week.

I'm looking for a few Americaunas to add to my small flock. I was hoping that they would have a few young pullets.

Not a big deal, probably better that I order a number of chicks in the spring anyway....

Hey everyone, check out this link! This guy in Utah just rescued a bunch of geese and is trying to find new homes for them. He will start shipping in fall, but they also need donations if anyone would like to help that way. I believe it was 69 geese of various ages he got from a breeder shutting down in CA. Apparently some are blind and at least two had spinal injuries. He has also set up a web page for the rescue; it's in his signature line.

wow....so much to catch up on!!!

I worked on coop/runs all weekend....almost completely converted over to the new coop!!!
