Colorado

We are confirmed with Tony Albritton, 25 SS and 15 Narragansetts, to ship in April. Total shipping is $50, $25 for each box, so the turkeys with shipping are $11.67 each ($10 each x 15 = $150 + $25 shipping = $175 / 15). So excited!

I am excited too! And I am not even getting chicks at this time!!! Is fun watching what everyone else is ordering!!!!!!! So getting my "chicken" fix that way.......... lol

Does anyone have any experience with Efowl.com? they are here in Denver evidently I just emailed about their broad breasted breeds. I think I need bigger birds that the ones you guys are getting.
eFowl state on their website " we've grown into a network for poultry farms and hatcheries to offer our customers the absolute best in selection, availability, and order fulfillment."

Remember that we butchered out turkey at 6 months. At one year they will be much larger. Narragansetts are a "Heritage" breed. There are many other breeds that grow very fast, and very big. the tradeoff is in flavor and texture.

I should have asked, did you want 5, or 3? If you only want three it will be $35.00 and I'll buy the other two. I'm good either way.
Five is good, I'm kinda thinking I want to have at least a pair left to keep if we like them.
Lol... I keep telling my son that if worse comes to worse, I'll take the camper and go to ND. His eyes light up, envisioning the man cave that will become our home. :)
Yeah ND was our "worse comes to worse" lol

Thanks for the welcome back.

Chick.........did I remember to congratulate you on your expectant state? Always such good news to hear. Sorry I have no experience to suggest which sex, but I'm guessing girl, just 'cause every mother needs a daughter.

Don't worry I have been in a bit of a funk myself, I understand. I hate being unemployed for the holidays. This year we won't have a tree again, just too depressing with no presents under it. But I do look forward to the family white elephant, I am putting nice candles in egg crates. Make them think I just gave eggs. ;)

Thanks Gardendufus. :). Most of my family are rooting for girl, especially my stepmom. Her entire side of the family has had a solid generation of boys. She and her twin are the last girls born on that side. She has a total of eight nephews.
