No one has put in a solid request yet, Chiskt is still looking into hatching eggs and I haven't even posted anywhere else yet (besides the website Pozees put together for us :) ).

Chicks will be $4 each since you want more than 6 (4.25 each under 6). I will note though, they haven't hatched yet so I don't know how many I will end up with. Even at 60% I should get 13 but I don't want to promise a specific number just in case, but you have first dibs on the hatch. :)

Ok sounds great :). I'd love to be your first customer and put me down for 12 for sure then :). Give me updates on my unborn children from time to time :). I assume you hatch them and keep an eye on them for a few days before you sell them? Around what time frame would I be looking at getting them as to make sure I get a brooder set up for them?

*groan* This has officially been 'one of those days'. I thought I was on top of it turning in my report, only to find out my boss submitted the same report I was working on a month ago and I was expected to be working on a different report with a nearly identical title. Seriously, there's only a four letter difference in the titles so I never noticed anything and the general topics are so close... I'm in the Reserves and only found out tonight about the disconnect and this is due next month. I have No Clue about the stuff in this other report, neither report was one I have ever done before. I know someone I can ask for help with it about but that's it. Sooooo frustrated right now. I haven't had any courses in these areas (not even sure they offer them except informally and the people I would get that informal brief/class from aren't even in this state).

Just so frustrated right now.

Went to Big R and splurged a bit. Bought my waterers and feeders and chicken wire to build my brooder. I'm just going to staple some 36" high chicken wire to a 2x4 frame and lay it on the old linoleum in my unused basement. How important is a lid? Will they be able to escape a 3 foot wall? Also how small should the holes in the chicken wire be? Is 1" too big?


Also purchased a brooder lamp and some chain to hang it from the ceiling. Found a red 75w floodlight at walmart too.

I can't wait till the chicks come home!
