He is doing great! I don't understand the aggression, but he is super healthy and likes to be held now. Loves worms and wheat grass too! Not sure he won't eat anything! LOLThat is so sad - how is your little survivor doing?
i am trying to make a flock with dual purpose so these are the breeds we have disided on: new Hampshire, SLW, cuckoo marans, araucana/americana, gold star, production red, and a plymouth rock. i plan to use them for eggs for the moment. but i want the ability to switch when we need to so I am looking for good size in the birds but they have to be good layers. are there any pros or cons with any of these breeds?
here in Boulder County, there are bicycle inner tubes along various roads...., and I bet you could make a launchy thing fairly easy!Chickenfest 2013 update:
I am looking for one of those water balloon launching things that use surgical tubing... I need one to modify and use for rubber chicken launching...... Don't want too much range on it...

LOL. Unfortunatley catapults are from a little earlier era.Make two and we can have water balloon fights if it is hot! LOL! do catapults fit in with your reenactment groups?
