I thought I saw a sign at Big R that said there may be discounts for large feed purchases.... I will find out. If I can get a good discount there, then it doesn't pay to go to Sweeny's in Pueblo. Besides, Sweeny's told me they didn't do 18% protein feed.

I do the 20% protein and it's $15. It's the cheapest closest to me and my hens don't seem to have any issue with it.

Where's the cheapest place to get bedding\wood chips and feed? Local feed supply, TSC, other??
Thanks for the info ahead of time!

I believe there's a Murdochs not too far from you, and it's about the same as TSC. The Greeley Elevator has great prices on feed ($13.70/ 50lb bag about a month ago), can't get near that price anywhere but another Grain Elevator. I make the drive to Greeley for feed and I'm 90 minutes away. They'll do custom mixes, and I drive a prius and can do 500 lbs at once no problem so it's worth it to me.
