waiting on the call from the Feed supply saying my chicks are in.....<<The waiting is killing me.

I'm running to Denver today to drop off my family at the airport. Any must stop supply shops in Denver?

If you're coming down near Brighton, I-76 or hwy 85 to Bridge aka 160th, Bomgaars has all of their chick supplies stocked for chicks they'll start getting in the next couple weeks. Lots of red lights. I would think 125w and 250w. And everything else you may need.

One week doesn't make that much of a difference, especially if the older ones are out-numbered.

I live in the springs too. I have bought bulbs at the Colorado Agrifeed at Austin Bluffs and Barns before. In a pinch I found one at Home Depot at Woodmen/Academy. I would call ahead to Lowes to save you some driving around

Ok thanks. There will only be about a 4 day difference in age. The older ones will most definitely be out-numbered.

As a side note: Apparently she got a surprise shipment of bantams and ducks (not sure what kind...I can ask) if anyone is interested.

Awesome, thanks! I didn't even realize that there was a feed place right there. I drive by that intersection on my way home every day.
