The three in the corner on the upper left are the three I hatched. They are obviously too good for these new chicks!

I now have:
2 Welsummer
2 cuckoo Marans
1 black copper Marans
2 gold star
1 olive egger
3 Araucana/Americana

Adorable!!! Did you have any trouble integrating the two 'flocks'? I'm going to have to get my chicks in two batches since that's when the feed store will be getting them in...

They stayed separated for a couple of hours but now they are all chums . It was funny at first though, Godzilla(my giant EE I hatched) had the craziest look on her face when I put the new chicks in the brooder. She paced around them all for an hour or so before she could settle down.

Anyone else ever have issues with yahoo mail? I got eight messages in a row sending emails that I had to prove I was a person by typing in that funky code. Then when it didn't send the first time I would enter the code and I ended up sending some emails three times because it kept saying it was stuck.

Ooh, that might not be Yahoo ... I have Yahoo Mail and do periodically have issues but not like that. Might want to run whatever virus scan you have on your computer.

It's yahoo and I found out why. I hit there email limit for the day. I have to up to a business account. I didn't even realize they had specific business accounts.

Oh, huh, I didn't realize there were limits on daily email. Didn't know there was a business account either, I thought they were just either paid or free. I've always had paid just to save the time it takes the ads to load. Hughes advertizes that it's only faster than dial-up for a reason.

I just got a call from Ideal! I am getting 25 Chanteclers next week, due to arrive on the 7th! Mix of reds, buffs and partridge!

And are those straight run or just pullets? I'm asking because I'm in desparate need of a buff cockeral.... long story. Short story -- I have several females and no good quality male to breed with.

My guess is the Godzilla is not a "she".

Don't say that!! She is only 6 days old... I mean its possible but I hope not.. She hatched out of a giant EE egg... Bigger then the jumbos at the store and she has always been bigger then the rest..
