I get all my supplies from ReStore Habitat or thrift stores. You'll save a ton of $ if you get it second hand (used).

No idea on mealworms though. I am also interested in the process though. The chickens love those worms!

That's what our plan is in a few weeks. We'll let it get warmer and then put him in one of the breeding pens with only 4 hens.

Maybe....... if you have several coats of it it might work out OK.

In my large 10 X 12 hen house I have two vents at the top each gable end of the roof structure. I also have a window that opens. Currently the eaves are also open, but that will change soon. Too many sparrows get in......

Where did you find mealworms at Lowes? How much were they?
