Thanks for the replies! I assumed those hatching chicks above were hatching them for themselves or something. :)

So in that case, I'm In the market for chicks in Colorado Springs if anyone has some they want to sell! Should I just start PMing people if I see their chicks hatching? What is the chick-buying etiquette around here?
 
Oh and my husband plans on eating the chickens when they stop laying anyway, so I won't feel too depressed if we have to get rid of some males to be fattened up and eaten. I was just hoping to not spend a bunch of money on chickens that I'll have to give away.

A lot of times people will post that they have extra chicks. But, just saying you want/need chicks is great too, people will remember that. Welcome to the thread!
