I was going to try for Olive Eggers this spring. I kept an Olive Egger roo, and was going to put him over my 3 green Easter Eggers and my 1 Ameraucana, and now I can add this Olive Egger to the mix. Since she was hatched from a dark Marans egg but has the pea comb, I'm really curious to see what color eggs I get from the offspring. Here's a pic of my Olive Egger roo and some of the other green and blue egg layers I'll be putting him over. Anybody else have luck with getting unripe avacado green shades?

Oh so exciting! I am trying to get an olive eggers right now. I have 6 chicks that I am hoping will lay olive eggs.

HI Eurato Gullible,
I had (no longer) a Blue Copper Marans roo and several easter eggers who lay blue eggs.
I incubated 10 eggs and have 6 chicks. Tonight we lost power for 2.5 hours so I think the last 3 eggs in my incubator are history.
Hoping for some olive eggers in 6 months! Wendy

Eurato- would you ever sell one of your chicks? I am so interested!

Last night we lost power from 6 to 9pm. I pulled my 6 day old chicks in front of our fire, and put in a water bottle too.
I was about to drive them to a friends house so I could plug my heat lamp in, when the power came back up.
I think they were ok. But the last 3 eggs in the incubator I think didn't make it. I will candle them today and see.
