I just changed bands over the weekend and moved them and their roomies to a growout pen, and so far they look good - not seeing any unwanted color coming through. They are still young, of course, but so far so goodOne of these days we'll get some pics, I have been crazy busy and then got sick last week making everything a challenge. Bob's first cataract surgery is next Monday so we'll try to take pics over the weekend.
I'm glad they're looking good. I know a lot of people that have the same group as us have hatched correctly colored males, so that's what I am hoping for. We started our first Cream hatch last night. The cream girls do not lay well with the cold weather, so 14 in 7 days was as good as it was going to get. We hope by next month, after this first hatch, they get going better. I'm honestly re-thinking the breed all together.
Hope surgery goes well.
