Colorado

I placed my multiple hold mouse trap, baited with peanut butter, in with the quail and I made a bucket trap for the inside of the coop. My hens will not be able to get to the bucket trap unless they are let in to the shed area. Even if they did, it is only baited with peanut butter. The war is on with these little furry creatures. a couple I can deal with, but I have seen way too many for my liking. They definitely seem to have reproduced in rather large quantities this year.

Congrats Rood, but you better consider something a lot more predator proof than that plastic mesh though. A fox, raccoon, a stray neighbor dog/cat would have no trouble making a nice meal out of your hen(s).
the plastic mesh is just some fencing to make the run a little bigger when I'm outside. The coop is covered with 1/2" chicken wire.
