I'm in Elizabeth.
The only breeds I have that I would have fertile eggs/chicks of that would be showable are Black Copper Marans. I'll also have OE, CCL, and silkie/bantam EE and sizzles.
I have a black frizzle bantam cochin, a Welsummer, and a barred rock for sale though.

Right now, I've only got 4 GL Polish hens & a Sebright rooster. 3 of the 4 are laying right now, but it's pretty inconsistent to get more than 1 egg a day (today was a rare day with 3 eggs). I put in an order for chicks back in November that should arrive in March. Australorp, EE, Blue Orp, WC Polish, BLR Wyandotte. In a couple weeks, I should be getting some Phoenix bantam eggs my mom surprised me with but I'm not very confident I'll get much out of them since I've never done a hatch before.

I feel bad that everyone is saying their hens aren't laying & mine are doing well enough that I don't know what to do with all the eggs! I decided once I finish up a project for @trsturself that I might have to try egg decorating. I can't get anyone in my house to eat the eggs & I don't want them to go to waste. There's only so many eggs I can eat on my own now.

Who else has had chickens that get frostbite? A month before Stock Show while I was skiing my best Rooster got it. It turned into a scab that I ended up picking off but it was still bad

Both of our BO roo's got frostbite on their wattles from drinking from heated water bowls during that time. Rocco the alpha was the worst, here are shots of the damage before and after.

We have the following breeds -
Welsummer
Barred Rock
Delaware
Easter Eggers
Dark Cornish
Rhode Island Red
Buff Orphington - roosters

In the spring we will have barnyard mixes of the above running around.

@uzisuzuki - don't even go there about the eggs, we are not currently donating eggs due to my up and coming surgery and needing to readjust my priorities. Try having anywhere from 13-20 eggs a day, our dogs are spoiled everyone gets a fried egg on top of their food at night. I am going to make some quiches for freezing.

I need more eggs lol! My recipe for angel food cake requires a dozen egg whites, a loaf of bread requires 1 egg and 2 whites, a batch of gelato requires 6 egg yolks :) a pound cake needs 4 eggs, need I go on? I bake daily, sometimes more than once :)

RC= rose comb. I can't seem to add pictures right now from my phone??

Btw, I have a blue ee egg hatching!! It's the one marked 1/5 so excited my first ever hatch! Lenny is the daddy, he's a salmon favorelle x wellsummer x light brahma roo, feather footed, bearded, muffs and I think might be even some cresting? I can't wait to see what his babies look like!!

OMG I love quiche. So much.

I'm getting worried about the chicks I'm supposed to get since some of them are supposed to be better egg layers than my Polish. If no one in my family starts eating these eggs, my poor dogs are gonna get fatter than they've got since my accident! Not much running around is getting done with my dumb ankles. I think I'm probably going to have to learn to cook things that require eggs! Or just learn how to cook something other than Ramen in general. ;)

I hope your surgery goes well! :)

That's so exciting! I can't wait to see pictures of the chick!

Somehow I missed a page of posts.
Our BCM rooster got a bit of frostbite on the tips of his comb. Not too bad. I think our CCL rooster also got just the tips. No problems with their wattles so far.

Now that I'm starting to get over my first loss of a hen, my little flock is looking a little lopsided and I'm looking for 1 or 2 more hens. I'd like to have something that lays a colored egg. I'm located in Denver. Anyone have leads for me?

I forgot I also have a young barred rock (almost to POL) and a welsummer (<1yr old, laying) for sale.
