I don't know what it is, but I know it's sure cute. Where did you get it?
got her at the feed store. She is suppose to be an EE but doesn't look like the rest. She looked a lot like the buff orphington chicks when we brought her home.

We have about a week of egg incubation left...the pictures of all these chicks are killing me! I'm getting antsy, which is proof that no matter how many hatches you do, 21 days is a lifetime!

It really is! I haven't even made it a full week yet and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna grow old and die before this incubation is over!

Lmao!
I swear, I check on the eggs at least eight times a day. Most of the time, I just stand there, staring at them with no real reason.

Me too! LOL I'm dying to get home and candle them to see if I have any fertile eggs. I didn't realize I could have checked sooner for veins, which is probably a good thing since it kept me from opening up the incubator. :)

What does the green legs mean?

The green legs means DH busted me bringing in another ee chicken.

I am really enjoying having all the littles.

I think Jennifer ( the pasty butted polish ) is over the pasty now.

I like the little polish. Although the poof's seem to be very heavy since they plop over when they fall asleep. Kinda freaky lol.

I do think our ee's look very similar. I am hoping mine stays white. I have one customer for eggs that prefers the green ones for some reason.

1000

I am so excited! I candled a day early (Day 6 for these eggs) since I was discouraged about my shipped eggs still not arriving & holy smokes! I was hoping for at least 1 of my flock's eggs being fertile. I was not expecting 4/7 to be developing into chicks! OMG I'm so nervous now! I hope they make it the rest of the 16 days.

Not sure what I'm gonna do now if/when my Phoenix bantam eggs show up. Might have to go buy a backup incubator from TSC this weekend!
