Still snowing......

Mission accomplished: 11.3" overnight to hit 39.3" for the
storm (or 100cm for the Europeans among us).
Good thing that the overnight snow is very fluffy,
so we are still below 3" for the liquid totals.

Nothing but white blobs as far as the eyes can see and it ain't my eyesight that is having issues!!!!!

Still snowing...this morning roll call with the chicks. All is well, the cave temp was 75 and they can out for a bit. Now I am re-thinking the whole brooder area as once the snow melts that is sitting on top of the WC it will be a mess. I put down a ton of straw so that is helping, but once the melt hits I might have to move them.

Nbr 4 hatched about an hour ago & as my last AC egg, turned out with no white! Holy smokes, I can't believe I got all 4 to hatch! Nbr 4 still has the umbilical cord thing going on that Nbr 2 had, so I'm hoping 4 bounces back like 2 seems to have. *whew* This weekend was stressful!

I don't think the 3 on the staggered incubation will hatch because I had to really up the humidity to make sure these 4 hatched, but I'll candle them & wait to see if anything will happen in the next couple days. I'm just so thrilled with this hatching experience & I'm excited to see what happens with them!

Yes, that is correct and it has been snowing since.......
I need to go dig my sheep some more personal space, LOL! The horses can deal with all of this. I just hope it mostly melts before the next storm or it could get real interesting.

Congrats! How exciting and ditto what Marge said about seeing what they become.

@Mtn Margie holly snow drifts, that's a lot of snow in one go. Glad you are doing ok and have a sense of humor about it, are your hatched chicks inside? Also I forget where you live, what area?

Our pictures are from Englewood, I think Boulder has more. We are trying to make it up there today to check everything. Will snap pictures up there as well.
