What's up fellow Coloradans? I'm a new chicken owner in city limits of Fountain and so far loving the experience. I have 3 Rhode Islands and 2 Buckeye chicks around 3 weeks old. I am currently almost finished with the coop and can't wait to put the girls (hopefully all girls), in the coop in the next couple weeks. Anyway, hope you all are enjoying the weather and thanks for having me.
depending on where you are some people get a shed and convert to a coop... that was my first coop that I used for 6+ years. or some of the "shed" places sell specific coops.... they will be much better put together than the prefab ones at either murdochs or tractor supply.Hello my fellow Coloradans! I was wondering if you all knew of a place I can go other than Craigslist or an expensive place like Murdochs to find a coop? I've got six chickens and four of them are three weeks and getting bigger everyday. I need to have the coop ready for when it's time to put them out. I've been looking around and haven't had any luck. I don't want to have to build my own coop as I'm not builder savvy and my husband doesn't want to go that route lol. Any and all help is accepted lol and thank you!!
