It's the middle of summer, and I have over 30 chicks to sell. Most are Ayam Cermani and Orpington crosses. I do have some Americana crosses. There are some pure Buff Orpington and Ayam Cermani chicks.

I s anyone interested. Also I'm looking for a butcher who deals with live birds in El Paso County. I know someone had posted it before, but I can't seem to find that response. I was thinking of maybe doing a truducken using and Ayam Cermani chicken.

Too funny...
Turkeys or guineas might go after the babies but they would be sore pressed to do anything beyond that.

Haha. Yeah, I figured it was a long shot, but if a chicken would kill a mouse then I like to think a large goose would maybe kill a prairie dog! Even my cat has trouble with them. He can catch em but the big ones are difficult to kill and often escape.

Oh yeah, my dog had a prairie dog hanging off her face the other day, it had bit her and really latched on

Does anyone have experience with cross beak? I currently have a chick that has it & I want to make sure he gets enough to eat/drink but I’m kinda winging it right now.

I've had some cross beak chicks. Most last a week before they die. One did grow up and I did get eggs from her. She was able to get food and water.
