Colorado

We are planning to buy a batch of meaties this fall, I think we are going to be ordering the first of next month. If anyone is interested in going in with us, we will be ordering from Welp. We are in the southeatern part of the state.

Also, I found feed for $12 something for 50 lbs in JaLunta.

Nope. Just grower for meat birds. You have to buy 1000 lbs, it was the only place I could find that would mill it. They probably have organic too, but I am sure it would be a lot more.. And Pueblo has a mill, but their minimum is 3 tons!!!

Anybody have a need for 2 peking drakes. A little history; we got a few eggs to hatch and only one hatched and felt it needed some friends and we got two ducklings at feed store, didn't know what they were at time feed store just said yellow ducks. The one we hatched died shortly after we got the ducklings and I found out the ones we bought were pekings. Since we wanting some good layers I split an order with wifezilla. Well the 3 girls were killed by a couple of foxes and so I am left with the 2 drake pekings. They are free to anyone that would like them. I will post on craigslist in a few days, just giving any BYC peeps first shot.

thanks

Anyone interested in going in on a large feed order with Countryside Naturals? I'm tentatively planning to place the first order next Monday (07/20).

If you're interested, check out the product line at countrysidenatural.com . The order is not limited to just one particular item, so you can choose whatever you like.

At 20-39 bags, shipping is about $10/50# bag. If we are able to reach 40 bags (seems unlikely), shipping goes down to around $8/bag. I think the $10 shipping makes a 50# bag of layer feed around $33. I know it's expensive stuff, but I have heard very good things and want to try their soy-free blend.

I'm located in north Colorado Springs and expect to have the order shipped to my home.

If anyone is interested, please PM me for details.

Hey, everybody, this is the organic, non-soy group order we were discussing the other day. Thanks so much for organizing this, arkanoid! I am going to give it a try.

Wow... that seems really cheap! I'd certainly like to give it a shot. I'm going to see if I can get the full ingredient list and protein content. Based on trying to formulate my own blend, it seems like this is too cheap if it's really organic and really the right protein level. However, I really want it to be great stuff! :)

Fingers crossed! Sounds too good to be true.
