Colorado

Just wanted to give Denver folks a heads up about an important opportunity to support backyard chickens in our city!

We're hosting a "Sustainability Talkback" with City Council candidate Susan Shepherd. City Council will be voting on the chicken issue this year, and the open seat gives us an opportunity to exert some influence.

Hello, I am not sure if anyone would be interested in renting an incubator to me. I want to hatch my first batch of eggs I am ordering and want to use something with good hatching rates that is something easy to use. Perhaps a Brinsea of some sort or a hovabator genisis 1588, of course an rcom 20 would be great too

. I live in a city and can only have a few hens so i will only be hatching once or twice so I hate to buy an incubator. Also if anyone is interested in extra chicks I am going to order black and blue orpington eggs from Bamachicken or Hinkjc and some lavender orpingtons from hinkjc (later in the year when they are available) . Anyways if anyone is interested or has any ideas for me let me know. Thanks, Sherina

Northern Front Ranger here - Fort Collins to be specific. Just picked up 4 Buff Orps and 4 Barred Rocks from our local farm and ranch store. It's our first time raising chickens other than occasionally taking care of my grandparents 16 birds when I was growing up. Excited to watch these little ladies grow up and start feeding us breakfast in a few months.
