The Brighton swap is good, but, chickens sell better there than ducks. Try not to think about where they are going or who will do what with them, otherwise, you will set yourself up for a lot of birds you cannot get rid of.
President of my club is Eric Fulenwider, (720-629-2939) who just recently moved to Hudson from Denver. He is running a large operation where he gets birds from the hatchery and fixes people up with layers and so forth. I am sure he might have something for you, he generally has birds year round. His kids also show so they do have showbirds as well.

I am Cara Smith by the way but I do not have any female RIR's to sell at this time, just cockerels.

3 3 month old (true) Amerucanas from Aimee at Manifested Wings!! One white, lavender, and black. The white has been named Tillie by my toddler as she adores the book Tillie Lays an Egg. The other two don't have names yet. They've been here about an hour and seem to be settling in well-eating, drinking, and hanging out. No good pics yet.

MY FIRST CHICKENS!!!

Umm, can you tell I'm excited?

I have two beautiful little girls (silver laced wyandotts) that I need to find a new home. They are only 5 months old and should start laying any day now. I also built a coop for them that I will need to sell as well. I would love to recoup the cost of materials, but I'm not looking to make any money. They are noisier than we were expecting and just can't keep them in the neighborhood. I adore these little girls so I want a good home for them. Call with any questions. Thank you. 720.257.4264

Is it sad of me that I am really really really looking forward to waking up at an ungodly early hour and driving to brighton for the swap?
