You could try the good old food coloring trick. You put a few drops of food coloring on/in your chickens vents. Use different colors for each chicken. It should leave traces on the eggs when laid and wallah match the egg streaks to the hen with that color food coloring

My gosh is it frigid out!!! Am trying 2 Sweeter Heaters this winter. One is in the coop with big hens in this below zero weather. One was with the younger birds but I brought all younger stock into the basement---temps are just too cold for my peace of mind. Before this cold front hit, the youngsters( tucked up against the wall hanging type model at night. I purchased a 50 watt side mount and 32 watt overhead mount.
