I really admire your Black Copper Marans!
I called you about hatching some a few weeks back but decided I better stick with ducks. Can't risk having those beautiful roosters engaging in their operatics, ducks just sound like background noise around here.

Wifezilla, thank you! Are the Welsh Harlequins quiet as well? That is the big appeal to the Cayugas. I have an almost 2 year old son so I would need a very friendly breed. After cyber stalking your blog I saw that you are VERY close, would you mind if we came and visited your ducks?

Any of my BYC frineds need a vanity counter top and sink? I just bought this off CL for the base only, and don't need the counter/sink. It's FREE if you want it - otherwise I'm just going to put it out in a couple of weeks when we have our annual free trash day. (I'm in Arvada.) Oh - it's about 49-1/2" x 23".

I will be moving stuff around this weekend, but maybe after that? I am trying to get the rest of the garden beds planted and I already need to get out the weedwacker!! I think a good time would be around when the babies hatch. 2 weeks or so?​
