Thanks to everyone's well wishes. The kid started anti-seizure medication last night but will take time to build up in his system so will probably still have seizures. He's very different the few days after a seizure.... cuddly, needing to be near me extra amounts, sleepy, and ravenous. Who eats a half a pound of bacon in one sitting PLUS 3 eggs PLUS split pea and rice soup PLUS grapes? We have a lead on several seizure alert dog places. One will even help me do fundraising to pay for it. That'll help. And he now has a bedroom next to ours that has almost nothing in it but mattresses on the floor, books, clothes and pillows. He's happy with that.

We had some pretty good hail and rain here today. News showed several tornadoes touching down in El Paso County but no major damage.


@MyKidLuvsGreenEgz Glad your kiddo is doing better. I used to work with a couple kids that had seizure disorders and they acted the same way and would eat like they were starving. Having a seizure takes a lot out of them and really zaps their energy sources and metabolism! Hoping that the meds work and give him and you some relief. If you do some kind of fundraiser be sure to let us all know because you know we will help out!!

Anyone here in Colorado know anybody hatching Americanas or Easter Egg Chicks I could give a good home to a couple if anyone has any.
