Just wanted to let you all know about this cool site. I found out about it from a fellow BYC user and signed up. Looks like not many know about it but you can sign up to sell eggs or search your area to buy eggs. Lets see how many places we all can fill on the map in CO. Mine is the Happy Hens stand.

Hello Everybody! Just wanted to let you all know over there on the Eastern side that my hubby is going to be hauling a large number of birds over to the Brighton sale for Sunday.
There will be peafowl, ducks, geese, LF B/B/S Cochins (roo and 4 hens, 2 laying now, out of show stock from Oklahoma), a group of young Australian Light Sussex that are near point of lay, a few Red Sussex roos, a large group of young black Jersey Giants, assorted young sussex and marans (black copper and blue copper) cockerels, and assorted other youngsters. Of particular interest to many of you will be a group of Blue Standard Orpingtons - these are 75% imported English 25% American Orps. They range in age from 4 months to 6 months, and will include pullets. There will also be an assortment of meat birds and pullets near/at point of lay. He will also have along quite a nice selection from his personal Serama projects, and can set you up with pets and/or breeding pairs/trios/etc.

I'll be staying home as I have a hatch due as well as two important dairy does due to kid this weekend. But, if you tell my husband that you saw this post on BYC, he'll set you up with what you are looking for, provided it is still there, of course!! Just please don't get frustrated with him if he can't tell you exactly what is what, he's a DAV who has had a couple of strokes, he doesn't always remember what breed is exactly what with my birds, but I'll have things set up where it will be easier for customers to see what is what.

Due to the nasty weather about to hit the mountains, he'll be heading out early tomorrow to try to avoid ugly pass conditions, so will be at the sale site bright and early Sunday morning! He'll be in a bronzish colored Dodge (plates read GOATS) pulling a stock trailer, hopefully you can find him easily!

Hope we have something you are looking for!

Hey Warbirds, I think that we need to get together on birds. I'll be looking for some pulletts soon and the marans interest me. Especially of they lay dark eggs. I also have 2 cockerels from Bobbi Porto that i need to rehome. Would you be interested?
We are just down the road from you guys. Would be nice to have a local supplier of pulletts!!
Be careful on the roads. It is getting cold here and you guys are usually 10* warmer than us. Brave man to drive I-70 in the weather with crazies on the road.

Aw man I'm going to miss that sale! I'd love some jerseys or blue orps...or both! Lol

So has anyone on here ever farmed mealworms? I just got some in the mail today! I put them in a large plastic bin and gave them some oats to munch along with some lettuce for the night and I'll add some oat meal tomorrow, ground up. I'm told that's all I need to really do to farm the creatures. Anyone with experience who can chime in?

Thank,I will certainly keep an eye out for him.Sounds like you have some really niice birds. I will be bringing a Coro ronation Sussex Roo a Blue Orp, Black Orp, Black Cochin roo and a pair of Lav Orps . White Dodge truck if anyones interested.
