Anyone here buy there feed from ranch way feed in Foco? What are your thoughts on it/them?

Hey Minchi - I use Ranchway feed. I really like it. Mostly using the Turkey Grower right now for everyone, but usually do the 20% lay feed. Their scratch is really nice too, very clean compared to the local mill. Love that it's from FoCo. Not a lot of help - buy my 2 cents. :)

We've used Ranchway from the Brighton Bomgaars. Mainly use the Nutrena crumble and the Ranchway scratch now. Our birds just seem to like Nutrena much better.

That is helpful, I have heard that it is cheaper and better quality from the mills. Do you think that or am I really going out of my way to pay more?
Same question Colorado chick if you don't mind.

HI All,
we finally made it home on Sunday night.. so happy to not be evacuated!! :)

BUT... I went to pick up my chickies at my friends house on Monday morning and
had a conversation with my other chicken friend owner...he thinks Rosemary is a
ROO. This is soo sad because this is the chick my 4 year old picked. But I have
been wondering for the last 3 weeks because he/she acts differently, has a different
looking tail.
Is anyone interested in an Amercauna ROO??? I think he/she is 2 1/2 months old now
I haven't heard any crowing so I am not sure, but my friend pointed out little bumps on the
legs where the spurs will grown in.
I hate to post this on craigslist. Would much rather give him to a good home here.

I am going outside now to take some new pictures and then I will post them :(

so glad you were able to go home! sorry about your roo. I'm not allowed to have them either.

i haven't seen alot of pics from the springs lately but the ones i've seen from my inlaws made my jaw drop. EVERY side of their hill has been burned. But their house is untouched.

Oh no! Please do post pictures! From what I've read sexing EEs is hard because they don't have any breed standard. My little girl has all the roo behaviour - running out first in the morning, bumping chests with the other girls, always interested in what I'm doing - but she doesn't have a comb or wattles or any of that at about the same age yours is. Until you get an egg or a crow I wouldn't make any decisions yet :)
