LOL. That was one of the ongoing discussions yesterday. Here's how heat and 18th century clothing work. You get hot, you sweat. Wool and linen breath, so when the breeze comes up, you cool down. I was talking to a girl who was wearing a tank top and shorts. The sun was beating down on her skin. I asked her who had more shade. She was actually hotter than I was. People associate clothing with warmth. Sweat is the body's natural cooling system.

Yes...that is what I've noticed as well.

Well fishing last night was both good and bad.

Bad: No catfish...

Good: Lot's of walleye...OMG. I was fishing with my Dad, my Daughter, Richard (Fiance'), and my neighbor and his 2 kids. My Dad was pulling in walleye on almost every caste. Not just one....but 2 walleye. He was fishing with an upper hook & a lower hook. I think there was one time that he did not have 2 walleye on the line....it was a walleye and a perch. I caught a 3 pound Large Mouth Bass.

Got home a bit before 10:00 last night.

where did you go? my hubby went fishing last weekend at carter lake and said the fishing was HORRIBLE. He was pretty disappointed.

I looked in my incubator and so far, 1 of the chicks are starting to pip. Tomorrow is hatch day and I'm really hoping to have a good hatch. Pipping is the slowest process in the world, or so it seems. I keep looking for movement but the little chick is quiet. Resting, perhaps?

Rick Home- OMG where are you fishing??? I have had nothing but cruddy luck since I left home, so that's almost ten years of rotten fishing.

Update on my broody; I swapped her ten duds for the fourteen shipped hatching eggs last night. I checked on her a few hours after sunrise and she had discarded two, so I snatched them up and put them in the cruddy little bator I bought this morning jic. Its that crappy little plastic one with tinfoil and a tiny lightbulb. Any case, after some fanangling I got it to 100 degrees and put water in the hollow legs to try and keep good humidity. I think it will be a miracle if these hatch but at least they have a shot now. :/

If you sweat like a normal person. I don't even sweat when I'm running a fever. :(
