Colorado

my rh is running at 72% I have checked and some people say this is too high and can cause them to drown. I have 3 more starting to pip. The original pipper hasn't progressed much. I now know what dads feel like pacing the hallways.

If you sweat like a normal person. I don't even sweat when I'm running a fever. :(

Me too! I was thinking the same thing when they were talking about sweating! LOL I overheat SO easily because I don't sweat. My 4 year old is the same way but my other kids sweat a lot like my husband. :) Survival of the fittest and all, I think I would not have survived before the invention of air conditioning!

I'm sure I wouldn't have. I'm not sure how I made it through three years of marching band. I think I only made it because I was in the pit, so we got to practice inside most of the summer.

I love that you used the

face. That's what I feel like when I get too hot. My husband knows when it's time to go inside for the afternoon because I start looking green and pukey.

It fit the best. I did marching band in Texas (Baritone Sax) in black wool, the only thing worse was our trip to Florida at the end of summer marching outside in full uniform. I don't exactly remember that day other then I know I was miserable.

Anyone just get hit with four or five inches of hail? It came down so hard and so fast I thought I would be picking up dead chickens. They were all over free ranging. Just let up and found them all and they are so pathetic:(. And my garden which looked so good this year shredded. My corn was chest high with tassels . Now it is flat. I dont think I have ever seen it come down that hard, it wasn't big but it was coming from every direction. I am a native and have seen are storms before but just not so hard. Hope you all are ok.

Sorry 'bout your hail. We had about 10 minutes of a good hard rain in south Colorado Springs, started, Rained 10 minutes hard, stopped completely and nothing in the last hour. Hope we get a little more.

Spent the 4th at Rock Ledge, stopped by to see Wendell and Beth a couple of times. Took a few pictures to upload and share. But as usual with the electronically challenged, I somehow got my camera on a setting which left me with a white screen and some shadows in the background that you can ALMOST see if you look really hard.

SIGH. Anyway it was a great day out there but I kept running for shade. About 10 or 15 minutes of the sun was all I could stand. Sat under a tree most of the day, eating cheese and crackers and chicken salad, reading a book. My idea of heaven!!

Just some light rain here. I am sorry about your garden too, I have lost most of the few plants I have to the heat. If I lost my grape vine I would be very sad.
