that sounded too low adding in the 3pm this early so figured just day 2 sounded better. LOL It feels so much longer!

hoping some time goes faster. one thing that will help me is a concert next Sat. Then the 9-12 we are away camping (debating blocking off those 2 boxes when away) so hopefully that will help pass that time quick.

The 3pm works well. I am going to candle at dark, and knowing that the morninf hasn’t “switched” to the new day will help me wait til the evening to check them!

I would probably block off the 2 boxes to make sure the hens don’t leave the eggs too long, or go to the wrong nest!

Wow!! I took a quick peek at a couple today but it was still light out but coop wasn't super bright. I saw nothing. Lol

Wowowow! I haven't been getting notifications for this at all the last couple of days. I'm not sure what happened. I'm so surprised you got to see something in an egg already! I bet Minty is about full grown in her egg by now.

I’m going to try to candle them all quickly tonight, just for curiosity’s sake! Will wait til after dark. I wonder how many I’ll be able to see this early? It’s only day 3!

I know some people take a “hands-off” approach, but I set many more than needed and it’s a great way to learn so although I’ll be very careful I will try to check on the eggs as much as possible without disrupting their growing too much.

DS was very excited last night also. He said, “yes, mom, that means we have at least one!”
