I looked up the different types of combs, maybe a strawberry or cushion comb? I had no idea there were SO many different types!!
If you start reading in the Genetics forum, there's some really interesting discussions on comb type, and what genes combine to form which combs, and how they do it and how they pass to the offspring. For some comb types, it's not a simple process.

How interesting!! Y’all gonna have me drawing punnett squares for chickens!

For leg color, most chicks either have bright yellow legs like Big Bird, “white” legs (white people skin color), black, or gray/greenish. That can help narrow things down a lot. So if you pick a chick up, take a photo of their comb, profile of the head, then the legs/feet, that would probably give “the experts” enough to make an educated guess. 😁

But like someone else said, in the colored egg packages, you get a lot of “designer breeds,” which are mixes of different breeds to get the egg colors. So the feathers, comb, etc, isn’t standard on them like they would be on a wyandotte or orpington.
