Oh my gosh I can't believe you actually have to explain yourself...it seems self evident to me that this was all in fun and yet an attempt to make a point as well. Some people just need to lighten up.

I thought it was funny...they look like marshmallow peeps....with extra fuzz, the kind that fall under the couch for a month and you give to your little brother.
