I do believe I might have to serve green eggs and ham tomorrow.....

BTW, I am a Sally B. also.

Sally's don't come around like they did in my day... I think my siblings named me after that 1st grade reader "See Sally Run."

Sally B - I'd make more.... but darn it if I am not plum out of eggs having made a big batch of potato salad and a tray full of deviled eggs.... Those 3 chickens don't put out quite like I'd like to see 'em do. I'd like to see 2 eggs a day from each of 'em. But I don't think that will ever happen. I guess it's a good thing I have 5 new chicks being raised by my 10 yr. old niece. Next year, I'll be gettin' more than 2x as many. YIPPEE!!! The eggs have it!!

why can't I find them? I tried to search for recipes submitted by MaryMac and you are not listed. I want to see too!!!

Forget that! I did find them. I was looking at the link at the top of the page 'Recipes'. I forgot about a topic. Having the 2 recipe sections is confusing. And they ARE beautiful!!

We colored all shades of brown.

Here is our favorite way, the way mom Mom did when we were little: get a [used] nylon sock, put a nice looking piece(s) of grass on the egg (I wet them and stick) or a little something your kid cut out of paper (my dd cut hearts this year) or wrap elastic bands, put that egg into the sock, to the end. Make a knot. Put another egg with grass leafs or whatever you wish, make another knot. Etc. Although it might be easier to do about 3 eggs per sock. Then hard boil them in water with brown onion skins (put in cold water with onion skins, bring to boil and cook for about 7 minutes). Let cool at least a little bit. To get the eggs out easier you can cut the sock, unless you planned to reuse it. Nylon tights (pieces) work too. Color does not matter
