I'm trying to breed coloured egg chicken breeds. So far, I have Araucanas laying blue/green eggs.

Which chicken breed(s) would lay dark brown and light pink eggs? Any other breeds would lay unusual colour?

How dark eggs are depends a lot on the line. I've seen Marans eggs that weren't dark at all.

IMO Marans are the darkest followed in order by Penedesenca, Welsummer, Barnevelder and Langshan. Some of those aren't very dark either.

Orpingtons sometimes lay a pink egg and Croad Langshans are supposed to lay a plum egg but it may just be a coating. I have a couple Penedesencas that occasionally lay a plum egg.
I believe Croad Langshans are only in Britain.

Some South American breeds have other colors but I don't know where to get them.

Basically, I'm trying to breed chickens that lay unusual colours other than usual brown/white eggs. Like you said, I believe Marans lay dark brown eggs. I'll start breeding them. Of course, hopefully I'll have correct line of dark egg layers (Marans).

The best you can do is find breeders that are working on dark eggs.

Barnevelder eggs for instance have gotten a lot lighter over the years as people were working on plumage but there is one breeder close to me who's birds lay a very dark egg.
My Welsummer laid an egg as dark as most of my Penedesencas but unfortunately she was overcome by this summer's heat.
