Colourful and Unusual Chicken Eggs!

Pics
What's a fairy egg? I see one dark brown egg in straw.
Fairy eggs don't have a yolk. This is what the only one I have gotten looked like:

And speaking of tiny eggs, I LOVE my bantam eggs! They are great for making half recipes, and they make the cutest deviled eggs. You can peel them easily after boiling even when they were laid that day. My Sebright lays 5-6 eggs a week. My dream is to start a tiny egg company....

They are tiny eggs a hen lays.
Often they are darker in colour than ‘normal’ eggs a chicken lays because the eggs not as big, often resulting in the egg having a more intense colour than usual as the colour is more concentrated in a smaller space, being less spread out.

Here's my EE's egg next to my Spangled Hamburg's egg. Bunny, the EE, is the only one laying colored eggs right now. Although, my BJG lays a nice darker brown speckled egg. I need to get a pic of our current eggs. I can't wait for my Araucana and her EE sister (aruacana/ameraucana) to start laying their blue eggs.View attachment 1421523
Nice, EE one is a good colour! I like them both! The white one looks shiny.
I find some of my hens eggs are shiny, and some are matte

Great photos! Bantam eggs are adorable!!

They all look so nice!
A few others have posted pictures of grey eggs on this thread, and in one of the posts said their grey egg came from a pink / purple egg layer x a blue egg layer.
This post and yours is what’s making me wonder if grey eggs are the result of crossing a light egg layer with a blue egg layer.
Purple/pink egg geen+green egg layer.
