Columbian Rock

I have recently discovered that this is the most beautiful chicken. I want one. I live in Louisiana. Does anyone know where how to find these. All the research I have done states they are very rare.

look up columbian rock cross they are cross between Rhode Island Red female with a Columbian male. they are more common and almost look the same. some feed stores carry them. this one rooster i had to get rid of that i had of this breed. hes young in this pic.

I will check it out. He's very handsome. I am going to the local chicken swap on Sunday to see what they have. I already have a Rhode Island Red so maybe I luck up and find a columbian male. That's for info and picture.

Beautiful. I am going to see what I can find at the chicken swap tomorrow. You can order chicks online but the minimum is 15 and I can't fit 15. Thanks for sharing.
