My thoughts are that no one should buy chicks from or sourced from Hoover's.
They're single handedly making the hatchery industry look like a circus.

It's feathers are light grey and white. I have a Barred Rock from the same company and she is black and white. Thank you so much for trying to help!
I never bought from them, but why is Hoover’s not reputable? I did not read the entire thread. Is it cause they ship wrong breeds?Definitely not too harsh.
They are mixing everything and producing some horrible quality birds.I never bought from them, but why is Hoover’s not reputable? I did not read the entire thread. Is it cause they ship wrong breeds?
Oh by the way you are such a great informer. I see you a lot on breeds/gender threads. You are definitely part of my “experts” category. They are mixing everything and producing some horrible quality birds.
Not harsh enough... I used to help with breeds on here years ago and it was so much more simple. Almost everything was APA besides the sexlinks and EEs... Now we have Meyers/Hoovers/My Pet Chicken (among others!!) just creating these weird designer mutts just due to the trends of pretty eggs. It's like the influx of the doodles with dogs I just don't understand the creation of crosses without an ultimate end goal, just bred for one traitI see a partial crest. I'd say some kind of EE/OE type of cross.
So hard to say when Hoover's is involved.
