Columbian wyandottes

These are beautiful birds!!! I have some BLRW and 4 other breeds, but I'd like some of these too :) I'm looking for hatching eggs, would prefer driving distance, but not set on that. I'm near Baton Rouge, LA. Tks.
 
MY 6 , 19 week old CW just had there first 2 eggs today...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

& their first eggs are not tiny at all, bigger then any pullet size eggs we have ever had...!!!!!!!!!!!! well so here is a pic of our CW first eggs ...! im soooo happy with our CW we are getting MORE

so there you have it gorgeous birds & good size eggs...!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they are the most wonderful and also fun birds ever...!!!

they grow really fast & have laid some first time good size eggs for their first eggs to...!!!!!!!!!!!!

I gotta say Colombian wyandotts are the most fun chickens i have ever had & we have SLW & they are fun to, but the CW are sooo much fun its amazing, just a bunch of comedians chickens for sure....lol we really enjoy their sweet funny personalities, & plan to get more just for their beauty & fun personalities, how could any one resist them...?

Your gals are super pretty and congrats on the big first eggs!

I have just one Columbian Wyandotte, my first, and she is about the same age as yours. She is as big as my mature Barred Rock hens but doesn't seem ready to lay. Our days are getting short so she may wait for spring. As a chick, my CW has been flighty compared to other breeds, but she has now settled down and has been unaggressive to other birds. The Columbian pattern is stunning -- really quite beautiful.

Anyone . . . are they good winter layers (beyond first year)? Henderson's chart shows them as a winter layer.
