Are you saying the RIR laid an egg? That's wonderful! Her pale comb should get more red as her hormones take stronger hold.

Yes I believe she did. I thought she has been laying daily. I get about 4 eggs out of 6 girls a day. I just noticed tvd comb today. How fast does that change? I noticed it on the EE right away because I was not getting my blue egg.

Once hormones respond to the increase in daylight, the redness occurs pretty quickly over just a few days. I believe your hen will be fine. Keep an eye on her for any change in behavior, though.
