Comb colors

I've looked, just can't find any! I only ask because my little BO (from a feed store) is very...foward. Not aggressive really, just not scared of anything. When I open the crate to give treats, she is more interested in jumping out of the crate. It just doesn't seem very ladylike (haha)-afraid this might be early roo tendancies...

No one has any baby pics of their BO boys and girls?

I have a pic of one. It's in another thread which you can find here...One of our BO's is in those pics too. Both our BO's have yellow combs, so I'm assuming they are girls.

In the very first pic on the right side is our EE gandalf. He is the only one who has that huge pink comb. He is about 4/5 weeks old now.

Hope that helps

How old is the chick? If it has a pink or red comb and is young then it most likely is a roo. Hens do not usually turn pink or red until closer to time for them to lay.

Utonium-

Thank you!!! My Hillary looks like your pullet (thank goodness),though the chicks are only about a month old.

I'll try to get a picture and post it. Stand by...
