I am wondering if someone can explain rooster combs to me. I have two SLW roosters (I think.. one I know for sure) but their combs are completely different. The regular one I get, it's the other flat one. Is that normal or just a different type of comb. We got straight run chicks this year and ended up with three. Just trying to decide which one to keep. 
the top one you can tell has a normal comb but the bottom one is just a red blob... it's all smooth. Is that normal?
