Comb seems irritated/dry?

Is this normal for chicks? They’re five weeks old, looks a bit dry on a couple of their combs/beaks but this one in particular has a scratch. Unsure if this could be indicative of an issue or just normal growing.

I'm not sure what you're seeing. I just see a red comb which means hes a cockerel

I see what could be a small injury but it's not bleeding or swollen, so I wouldn't worry about it.
