Combs and bleeding

Do combs bleed easily or a lot when cut / scratched / pecked?

Yes. I've seen a good bit of blood come from a small wound on the comb.

Regular kitchen flour is good to stop the bleeding.

Or you could use cornstarch or actual Blood Stop powder that you should be able to find at your local feed store to keep on hand.
