How should I go about doing it?

 

Look at the youtube video on assisted hatch.It shows you.Use a tweezers..its small andeasy to pick small pieces off5 days?Holy cow hes a miracle chick!.It makes you scared to do but if hes alive and you want him to have a chance to live thats what you have to do...scary but only way....Its up to you though but i truly dont think he wiill hatch on his own if its 5 days.He must be so weak by now

Well added 2 wet towels in my closet hope to keep the humidity up as tomirrow is day 20 on my palimino brahmas.I am excited.Think i need to make myself get up in the night and check them too..Dang humidity!
Got up 1:30 am humudity doing well 73....Got up at 6:30 am 58!What the?
Today day 20 Well set them at 10 pm so does it make it day 20 yet?Maybe not

just a thought but maybe the air exiting the fan is close to the ventilation holes so the
humid air is being forced out more quickly than it should be?

BTW no progress on the pipped egg ...

We set 11 OE & 1 Lav. Ameraucanas from our birds on 10-21. And today we set 6 wheaton Ameraucanas & 12 BLRWs from a local breeder friend. We use an Igloo coolerbator and Rubermade coolerhatcher. Good Luck Everyone!!

It hatched!!!!! I checked before work this morning and nothing, but my daughter just
called me to tell me it was out... jeez I missed it ... pics to come later.

50 fuzzy balls of fluff hatched a day early 7 more were pipped and 3 of the remaining 7 were rockin. Everyones in the brooder now. Ill post pics tonight
