HELP!!!!!! My hatcher temp dropped to 92. It has been stable at 100 until baby hatched.Humidity went ip a little and temp dropped. Do i need to open up hatcher and move thermostat closer. what do i do?

Hey so sorry for the panic attack everyone.I have a homemade minie fridge hatcher. My temps dropped down to 90. After i calmed myself down some i relized my bulb blowed.I changed it and took the oppertunity to ck other eggs.They aree chirping and tapping. a few are swaying.
My temps are back up to 100 and humidity at 70 percent. A huge sigh of releif.

Yes it does.Can really tell its my first time hatching.Next time i'll try not go into full panic mode.LOL!!!
My chick looks like my GLW rooster.S/he is starting to get a little fluff to her now.Moms a EE that lays a olive egg. Just a mutt chick but so cute.

My next set goes into lockdown monday am. Ill probably candle them all when I do. My girls aren't laying for crap right now so I'm getting next to nothing for eggs, but I'm still stockpiling for another set

WHen I was building my coolerbator I was only going to put one bulb in because I thought that would be enough. I read and heard a few stories like yours (bulb blew and temps droopped) and decided to go with 2 light bulbs instead. If one should blow the other one will still light up and keep things warm.

brooks you using 2 lower wattage as opposed to 1 higher to avoid overheats?
