Im about to hook a reptile fogger up to keep the humidity stable where i want it. Sponges wet rags, you could even mist the bator lightly to jack the humidity up. Sounds like you may have too much air exchanging if your losing humidity that fast. Pics would be helpful ;)

I use rags on lockdown.Works well.Afraid it would get too high now with that.I did try a smallsponge yesterday on the bator with my iffy eggs. Didnt seem to do much at all. .I il try out a small a rag see if it helps in the iffy bator. Thanks .

I would LOVE to have it stay even...maybe thats a fantasy LOL. At night I add water right before bed. when its about 42...then 7 hours later its 22-23. I dont want it to get over 50 even if it goes lower during the night. But not under 30 either This time i have my plugs are all out. Every time i get a terrible hatch i rethink it all and try a new tactic.Thing is if i had some scrambled eggs which often happens with shipped i may be doing the right thing ..and THINK im not Air exchange.....I have used the plug until day 18 hatches before .. usually Helps to let it go dryer a little slower.Still doesnt keep it at 40 or a couple decimals from it 24/7. I ll try a rag on my iffy egg bator.See how that goes. .Fogger sounds pretty good too . Does that work well? They are in my closet. I have put wet towels in the closet before on lockdown to keep the dryiing to a minimum. doesnt seem to do a lot which it should as the bator is drawing in the more moist air. Also dont want m y clothes to get rotten so dont usually the whole 21 days just a day or 2 on lock .
