Horses are crazy expensive!! The purchase price is usually the least expensive part although in your case maybe not 😂 10K seems VERY expensive for a horse considering there’s tons of awesome ones for far less. Unless you’re wanting like a top show horse or something.
Nah, I just want a gentle horse, preferably bay color. I just want to prepare for a very high expense. I doubt I’ll have to pay an actual 10 grand.

Gahhhhhhhhhhhhh! I’m just going to vent it right here. Stupid. Rats. :barnie:barnie:barnie:barnie:rant:rant:rant:rant:duc:duc

A few days ago, on Sunday, I cleaned out the shed. I put the feed in metal bins, and cleaned out all the poop, shavings, and nests. Then I set the traps. None of the traps have been triggered yet.

I store the feeders in the nesting boxes at night. The nesting boxes have doors on the inside, so I also close them so that the new 7 week old chicks don’t sleep in them. The doors don’t shut fully, but it’s good enough to supposedly get the job done.

This morning, I took the feeders out. Guess what I noticed? Rat poop. That’s right. Now I’m really mad. They chewed a hole in the side of my lovely coop.

I really need a cat.

Too bad I’m going on a trip in 3 days.

Go out at night and catch them :)

I have 4 cats and of the 4, my tiny little barely 10 pound female is the most vicious, ruthless killer. Once she came across the street with a rat and ate just the top of it's head and brain.

Like Hannibal Lecter.🤣

I payed 1,600 for Cherokee. Price doesn’t mean good attitude, you need to meet the horse and get to know it. Ride it, groom it, feed it. Get to see how the horse acts with everyday things. That’s how you choose a horse.
I honestly didn’t want a thoroughbred but once I met Cherokee I fell in love, she’s amazing.

My old bones and thunder thighs cannot operate properly to even get on a horse at this juncture, lmao

well that person was 10

I was at my first EVER riding lesson. Horse spooked at a GOAT and knocked me off.

most don't usually get the pleasure of learning the "get back on" lesson on the first day
