Cackle has all around good reveiws. They are the best in terms of quality.

But for silkies specifically, My Pet Chicken would be my hatchery of choice.

I've been drooling over their silkies since I first found out about the breed.

I thought my pet chicken was good, but it doesn’t look like they have silkies available? Maybe i would just get white or black instead of both.

How much do you care about quality? Ideal has.... erm... not ideal quality...

Decided I’d go with my pet chicken instead. I can’t get 7 more chicks anyway.

Hey! Long time no see!

Ok, here’s my current plan. No matter what I try, I can’t find any hatcheries that do small orders on bantams silkies that actually have them in stock (or wouldn’t come until October)

My local feed store has a few (but only a few! (5 of each color) silkies coming in on June 18th.

Right now they have you book an appointment, so I’m going to book the earliest appointment I can get and hopefully get 2 white and 2 black silkies.

Hopefully I’ll be able to get them! (Unfortunately I don’t think they take special orders. )

But if I can’t find them there (if they are sold out) than their is another store that’s 15 minutes away that I could try going to. (Hopefully it works out! )

Dang, I’m feeling impatient!
