Just got home from work today. It. was. so. busy.

And the systems were up and down all day making it very difficult to do anything. But I didn't get yelled at even once! So that was a major win

Sometimes more than others, but normally at least a couple times a day, yeah.

I work at a UPS store, so you regularly get those people that think they know better than you and like to make a scene.

It's actually insane, like even people you know totally change their attitude when your behind the counter. You really get to see people's true colors with how they treat the people serving them. It's really sad.

But today wasn't bad.

But I was really bummed I got called in last minute, I had tickets to go to a really big toy show today

I've never gone to a toyshow and not scored big. Honestly decided I'm not going to buy ponies online very often anymore- the amount of people not knowledgeable on the value of certain ponies and grouping them all together in a cheap lot is insane!! Not that I'm complaining.

You can't really find G1 ponies like that very often (though I did get a decent lot of those this summer too) but you do find collectors downsizing and genuinely trying to share their passion with other collectors without being one of those ridiculous scalpers -- which is the biggest issue with buying online now. Prices have SKYROCKETED within the past year. Ponies you used to be able to get for 1-2$ now are $60+ and I'm sorry, as much as I love ponies unless it's an international exclusive I'm not spending that on a hunk of plastic -- not when you can still find them at junk sales for like nothing

I'm bummed I didn't get all of the original series when I was younger, I only have a couple now, and you really can't find the rest for under $70-$100 anymore. It's actually insane

Honestly decided I'm not going to buy ponies online very often anymore-

And not to mention then they have to ship them so they'll be down at the UPS store yelling at some poor girl.
