I ordered a crow collar for my rooster today. Hopefully this doesn't end up a tale of torture for this thread.

Has anyone else successfully used one? I'm such a chicken, I'm afraid I'll strangle him.

Understand your worry; I feel the same way to be honest. Even though Bug (the legless rooster) is lucky that his little legless self isn’t strangled when he shrieks at 5 in the morning, I’m worried a crow collar would finally do him in.

I had a special needs rooster too. He had one good leg. I raised him until a young man with disabilities fell in love with him and they're best buds. I'm so glad I saved that chick instead of putting him down.
