The power washer spray? They wouldn’t have a hand anymore. My one friend worked at a water park when she was young—they were warned to be careful or the spray would cut off their toes. Could you imagine?

Yikes! Every few years, my family would pressure wash the porch. I was always warned to stay inside while they were doing it, but sometimes when it was extremely hot out, I would sneak outside and play in the mist from a long ways away. But that sounds terrifying!
I lost one finger once when I was two years old - (long story - might've involved a door hinge), but I can't imagine losing my toes!

It actually wasn't that big of a deal - my mother was closing a door and she was checking inside of the room to make sure she wasn't shutting any youngsters inside. (I had a twin, which made things even more complicated), and she didn't check behind her.
I had been sitting right behind her at the time and decided it would be a great idea to stick my right little finger into the door hinge.
Mutter closed it, and WHAM! A tiny baby's finger was lying on the floor, I was screaming my head off, and there was blood everywhere.
She took me to the hospital and they stitched it back on. They said that there wouldn't be any nerve damage because I was just a baby, but...I can't feel anything in that finger, and I have to manually move it.
Fun times.
