How is it disgusting to joke around with friends? It is not done with malicious intent at all and good friends will know that. We would never do it to someone who wasn’t a close friend or who might be upset by it. But with close friends, we know it’s a joke and it goes both ways. They give it back just as much.

And with true friends, you know what lines not to cross and what subjects to avoid because it’s not about hurting them. If you DO accidentally cross those lines and genuinely upset them then you apologize and avoid that subject in the future. But that essentially never happens because it’s only done with close friends.

It’s also very very common. Most people do it I would say or at least tons. Look up the definition of ribbing, banter, teasing, roasting, etc. It’s a bonding thing and not malicious at all. I only do it with my closest friends and it means we like each other enough to not be afraid to do that shit. So it’s a good thing.


If you don’t want to do it or let people do it to you, that’s fine. It’s not for everyone. But don’t sit there judging people that do and saying how disgusting it is and shit because it is NOT malicious whatsoever and true friends know that. That’s what matters. The people we’re doing it to. If they were actually hurt, we wouldn’t do it.
